Bayern fans who had made the long trip from Germany held up two banners protesting the extortionate ticket prices at Old Trafford.
One sign read: "£50 Glazers overkill", while another read: "Twenty is plenty".
In response to the banners, Manchester United fans applauded before a chant of 'we want Glazers out' rung out around the ground.
