An Arsenal fan has proven why Alejandro Garnacho was adjudged offside for Manchester United during the Premier League clash between the two sides on Sunday.
Arsenal won the game 3-1, following a dramatic final 15 minutes which saw goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus.
But it almost went the other way, with Garnacho thinking he had put United ahead on 88 minutes.

The Argentinian ran in behind the Arsenal defence before latching on to Marcus Rashford's pass and slotting the ball beyond Aaron Ramsdale.
But VAR checked the goal, with Garnacho deemed to be marginally offside when Rashford's pass was played.
Now, an Arsenal fan has analysed the offside decision - and explained why the decision made was the correct one.
You can watch the clip below.
In the video, the fan lines up a solid orange line - similar to the one used VAR - with the pitch markings in order to create a straight angle.

From there, it is clearly visible how Arsenal defender Gabriel's head is behind the line, while part of Garnacho's head is in front of it.
The current IFAB law deems it to be an offside offence if any part of a player's body that can score, i.e.: the head, body or feet, is ahead of the second last opponent.
The law reads: "A player is in an offside position if any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents' half (excluding the halfway line), and any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents' goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent."
After the goal was ruled out, the Sky Sports cameras cut to United boss Erik ten Hag, who looked to be furious on the sidelines.

And speaking after the match, the Dutchman claimed: "You saw the game. It was not offside. Wrong angle."
However, the analysis appears to prove Ten Hag wrong, with United then unable to prevent the Arsenal barrage in injury time as Rice and Jesus secured a famous victory.
