Fabrizio Romano has provided a huge update on the situation involving Manchester United winger Antony after both he and teammate Christian Eriksen were linked with a loan move to the same club.
United have offloaded seven players on permanent transfers so far this summer, with Scott McTominay set to be the eighth when his £25 million move to Napoli is completed.
Raphael Varane and Omari Forson have also left on free transfers but there was talk that Antony and Eriksen could be on the move too.
The Daily Mail reported that La Liga side Real Betis were exploring the possibility of signing both Antony and Eriksen for the season.

It comes after talisman Nabil Fekir left the club to sign for Al Jazira in the United Arab Emirates.
But according to Fabrizio Romano, Antony will not be moving to the Spanish club as he wants to stay at Old Trafford.
Neither he or fellow former Ajax player Eriksen are expected to be regular starters but could be useful as squad players in what is sure to be a season of many games.

The emergence of Amad Diallo could restrict Antony's gametime, while imminent new signing Manuel Ugarte will be ahead of Eriksen in the pecking order.
He was linked with a return to Ajax and Belgian side Anderlecht, with Eriksen knowing manager Brian Riemer from their time at Brentford.
But after failing to make an appearance so far this season, Denmark interim boss Lars Knudsen has already stressed that Eriksen needs to play more often.

“Christian is a player who can still contribute a lot, he told Bold.
"We also saw that during the European Championships
“But it is clear that his current situation is unsustainable in the long run.
"I hope Christian will play football. Whether it’s at Manchester United or somewhere else, time will tell,” adds the caretaker boss. “The fact is that he has to play more.”
