Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth has refused to rule out more signings after the deal to bring in Manuel Ugarte is completed.
So far this summer, United have already signed Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
Over the past week, it was heavily reported that United are close to completing a deal to bring in Paris Saint Germain midfielder Ugarte.

On Thursday night, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media: “Manuel Ugarte has successfully completed main part of his medical tests at Manchester United, final steps today at Carrington.
“Manchester United and PSG are set to sign all documents today for €50m deal plus €10m add-ons.”
On Friday afternoon, Romano added: “It’s all SIGNED for Manuel Ugarte. New Manchester United player.”

However, as reported by Sky Sports, United have failed to register Ugarte in time for him to play a part in Sunday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool.
After Friday afternoon’s UEFA Europa League draw, United sporting director Ashworth was asked about the remainder of the transfer window.
As per Charlotte Duncker of The Times, Ashworth said: “I had a few missed calls (during the draw) I kept getting nudged from Sir Dave Brailsford. My phone was vibrating.
“Let’s see what happens, the window is still open and we have some conversations going on.”

He added: “We have a couple of conversations going on at the moment. That’s all I can say. We’ll see what happens.
“There’s still a few hours to go, who knows what will happen in the last few hours. But we’ve been really pleased with the business we have done, in and out.”
One potential deal that could happen is the departure of winger Jadon Sancho, who has been left out of United’s squad for their first two matches of the season.

It has been reported that Chelsea are the frontrunners to snap up the former Borussia Dortmund player.
Romano wrote: “Jadon Sancho gives total green light to Chelsea move, he’s keen on joining #CFC project. Talks are taking place between Chelsea and Man United, deal currently ON.
“Juventus in complete stand-by since yesterday.”
