What Alejandro Garnacho did to Man Utd fans at the full-time whistle of Leicester match speaks volumes

Alejandro Garnacho produced a brilliant gesture following Manchester United's victory over Leicester City.

A video shows what Alejandro Garnacho did to Manchester United fans after the final whistle against Leicester City and it speaks volumes.

Man United picked up all three league points against Leicester following their 3-0 victory at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring before an own-goal by Victor Kristiansen made it 2-0.

Garnacho sealed the win with a moment of magic eight minutes from time.

He curled home a stunning strike, marking his substitute appearance with a goal.

Despite scoring, he failed to produce a proper celebration which got Man United fans online talking.

Once the full-time whistle blew, however, the 20-year-old looked more upbeat as he tracked down a young Man United supporter, who sang his chant before he entered the fray.

A clip shows a fan singing Garnacho's name before coming on, which was acknowledged by the Red Devils star.

After the result, the Argentine gave him his match-worn shirt, shared a warm embrace with the youngster and celebrated with fans.

Speaking after the fixture, Fernandes revealed why his teammate reacted the way he did as he told him to celebrate his goal.

"Garnacho scored a banger but didn't celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost faith from some fans," he told the BBC.

"I told him people will always moan but lots of people like you and enjoy what you do.

"I told him to celebrate, it was something special. He is a special player and we have difference makers. They are the ones who win us games.

"We want them to score every game but that isn't going to happen."

Garnacho now has seven goals to his name, having played 18 games across all competitions this season.

He'll be hoping his goal has impressed Ruben Amorim, who will take charge of his first Man United game after the international break.
