A fan claimed Alejandro Garnacho may have upset Cristiano Ronaldo after a specific Lionel Messi comment whilst the Argentine stopped to sign autographs at Carrington.
Despite representing Argentina at international level, Garnacho has made it very clear who his footballing idol is with countless tributes to his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Garnacho celebrated his first-ever United goal alongside Ronaldo by copying one of his signature celebrations and has since performed the iconic 'SIU' celebration after his incredible bicycle kick against Everton.
The teenager's seeming obsession with the Portuguese forward actually got brought up by his international teammate Angel Di Maria who actually called for Garnacho to stop imitating Ronaldo instead of Messi.
“The only thing I wouldn’t do is celebrate Cristiano. I would score the goal and I would do like Messi does. I’ll stick with that," Di Maria told Argentine newspaper Ole.
Despite this criticism, Di Maria was very complimentary of the 19-year-old winger and tipped Garnacho for big things.

"He is a very fast player, he has incredible ability. He is going to gain it with experience and coming to the National Team, it is a place where you learn a lot and continue to improve. It helped me a lot to grow technically in every way, it is spectacular," Di Maria added.
Garnacho was recently filmed by fans whilst signing autographs, and his answer to one fan's question may imply he's making a start on Di Maria's advice.
Whilst signing a shirt for a young fan, Garnacho was asked who his favourite footballer of all time was and he couldn't say, Ronaldo.
The 19-year-old quickly replied "Messi" with a smile, and caught the fans off guard who were clearly expecting a different answer.

"Who? Oh Messi, Ronaldo is not going to like that," The fan told Garnacho who appeared to shrug off the comment with a laugh.
