Pep Guardiola absolutely violated Jack Grealish in a pre-season training exercise.
After being omitted from England's Euro 2024 tournament, Grealish spent the first part of the summer building up his fitness individually before returning training with City.
He was one of the senior players to travel out to the United States for the pre-season tour and started in the 4-3 loss to Celtic on Wednesday.
Despite a disappointing season in the 2023/24 campaign which saw Grealish suffer from injuries and a lack of form, the former Aston Villa captain still has the backing of Guardiola.

But the £100 million man surprised his manager with his performance in training.
It wasn't with his football ability, however, Guardiola was stunned how Grealish fared in a quick-thinking challenge.
Guardiola was bouncing a ball up and down and every time he did, the squad had to clap.

If they clapped when the ball was not bounced then they were eliminated until only two remained.
Grealish didn't reach the final but was in the mix for the latter stages, much to the shock of Guardiola.
He told Grealish, "Jack, you are here, I didn't expect." Grealish described himself as "brainy" but he did then make the mistake of clapping while not in sync.

The 28-year-old is known for his tremendous work ethic and former teammate Gabby Agbonhalor claims he has been working tirelessly to rediscover his level.
“I think they are both very good players," Agbonhalor said on talkSPORT regarding Grealish being compared to City target Eberechi Eze.
"I think Jack [Grealish] can do exactly what [Eberechi] Eze can do. That’s what got Jack his big move. I know for a fact he has been working so hard this summer. fitness coaches, personal trainers. He is coming back with a vengeance to take that spot back from [Jeremy] Doku. Very good players. It is a shame that Jack wasn’t available for the Euros.”
