A huge update claims a Manchester City player is in line to leave at the end of the season despite only just signing a new contract.
Pep Guardiola's deal at the Etihad Stadium is set to expire at the end of the current season, while talisman Kevin De Bruyne is also poised to be out of contract.
But there's word that another player could be on the move even though he committed his future to the club this summer.
Goalkeeper Stefan Ortega penned a one-year extension off the back of making a crucial one-on-one save to deny Spurs captain Heung-Min Son after Ederson was forced off in the penultimate Premier League game of the 2023/24 campaign.

There was talk that the former Arminia Bielefeld shotstopper could start the season as No.1, particularly with Ederson heavily linked with a switch to the Saudi Pro League.
Ederson stayed put and has retained his place in goal, with Ortega making two appearances so far.
But according to BILD, Ortega is running out of patience with playing second-fiddle to Ederson.

The outlet claims he will push for an exit if he is not promoted to No.1 by Guardiola.
He believes he has the chance of breaking into the German national team and challenge Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
In the next few months, Ortega wants to understand whether or not he will be the preferred choice in between the sticks next term.
Despite extending his deal, Ortega is said to have a verbal agreement with his employers that he can move on if a satisfactory offer arrives.

He joined on a free transfer after leaving Arminia Bielefeld following their relegation from the Bundesliga.
Although Guardiola admitted to having never heard of him beforehand, he hailed Ortega as "one of the best keepers I've seen in my life."
Ortega has made 36 appearances since signing n 2022.
