Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly set to pocket an eye-watering sign-on fee if he joins Real Madrid.
Arne Slot's men have enjoyed a flying start to the 24/25 season as they sit top of the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool are also well on the way to defending their Carabao Cup as they look forward to semi-final clashes against Tottenham Hotspur.

However, their stunning start to the season has been dampened by the untimely reports linking Alexander-Arnold to Spanish La Liga giants Madrid.
The 26-year-old's current contract with Liverpool will expire at the end of the season, meaning he can walk away for free and sign for any club he wants.
Recently, it was reported that Alexander-Arnold had made a 'final decision' on his Liverpool future.

On New Year's Eve, it was claimed that Madrid had contacted Liverpool over signing Alexander-Arnold in January.
However, the approach was unsurprisingly rejected by the Anfield club.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Madrid are set to test Liverpool's resolve in the coming weeks with another approach.
Carlo Ancelotti pushing for Trent Alexander-Arnold signing
It has been suggested that manager Carlo Ancelotti wants the club to 'put the foot on the accelerator' to get Alexander-Arnold to the Spanish capital as soon as possible.

According to The Sun, Alexander-Arnold could be set for a payday of £100 million if he ditches Liverpool for Madrid.
The report stated: "Real are prepared to give the England right back a hefty increase on his £180,000-a-week Anfield wages. But the real money-spinner will be the signing-on fee.
"Although Alexander-Arnold will not be able to match Mbappe’s total package of £192m, he will become one of the best-paid players in the world."

Aside from Alexander-Arnold, captain Virgil van Dijk and talisman Mohamed Salah also face an uncertain future at Anfield.
Just like Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk and Salah's contracts are up in the summer, but the overriding feeling is that both will commit their future to Liverpool.
Speaking after Liverpool's 5-0 win over West Ham United, Reds boss Slot said: "I don't think I have to say much more about it. I'm really happy with Trent, just as happy as I am with Mo and with Virgil.
"So for me there's no difference. For the outside world maybe there's a bit more things happening around Trent in the media than with the other two, but I'm happy with all three at the moment."
