What Trent Alexander-Arnold said to the camera after Liverpool’s win over Manchester United has been picked up and it has got fans talking.
The Red Devils were easily brushed aside by Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon as a brace from Luis Diaz and a Mohamed Salah goal sealed a 3-0 win for the visitors.
It was another dismal afternoon for Erik ten Hag, whose future is being questioned once again with United sitting 14th in the Premier League table.
Things could’ve been much worse for United as Liverpool star Alexander-Arnold had a goal ruled out by VAR inside the first 10 minutes.

Alexander-Arnold tapped in Diaz’s cross and channelled his inner Steven Gerrard as he kissed the camera during his celebration.
However, he was left disappointed as Salah was ruled offside in the build-up.
Alexander-Arnold was eventually brought off in the 76th minute with the match at 3-0.
After the final whistle, the Liverpool vice-captain saluted the away section and appeared to say: “Next time, I’m coming back,” to the camera.

Another tweeted: ““I’m coming back” Trent has unfinished business with the camera man. He’s definitely signing that contract.”
A third fan added: “Next time, I’m coming back, bruh he’s going nowhere.”
Someone else wrote: “Well, if he’s on about the kissing the camera after scoring, he’s kind of confirming he WILL sign a new contract.”

Heading into the 24/25 season, the futures of Alexander-Arnold, Salah and Virgil van Dijk are all currently unknown as their contracts are all due to expire next summer.
Speaking after the match, Salah dropped a major bombshell as he said: “You know this is my last year in the club. I just want to enjoy it. It’s not up to me but no one has spoken to me at the club.”
