Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is set to make an unexpected return to Anfield later this month.
The former Reds skipper, arguably one of the club's greatest ever players, is currently in charge of Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq.
Although the side are currently in eighth after taking 31 points from 22 games this season, Gerrard recently signed a contract extension until 2027.

But the 43-year-old will be back on Merseyside on March 23, taking part in a Liverpool legends game against Ajax's former heroes.
Gerrard has been a regular in rolling back the years in recent years and the official Liverpool website has announced he is pencilled in for another appearance.
It will be the eighth annual legends game for Liverpool and Gerrard is expected to join the likes of Daniel Agger, Fernando Torres, Maxi Rodriguez, Martin Skrtel, Dirk Kuyt, Jerzy Dudek and Sami Hyypia in pulling on the Liverpool shirt once again.

The game is a 54,000 sell-out, with all the proceeds going to the LFC foundation.
Gerrard's inclusion is a monumental move and will see him link up with Torres more than a decade after the Spaniard's £50 million move to Chelsea.
