Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher have picked out one Liverpool player to blame for Newcastle United's opening goal.
On Wednesday night, Premier League leaders Liverpool travelled to St. James' Park to take on Eddie Howe's Magpies.
Under the lights, Newcastle started the better side as they dominated the match early on.

Eventually, their bright start was rewarded in the 35th minute after Alexander Isak scored a wonderful goal to give Newcastle a 1-0 lead.
The Swedish international made room on the edge of the penalty area before smashing the ball into the top corner past Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
Watching during The Overlap's watch along for Arsenal vs Manchester United, Keane and Carragher both agreed that midfielder Alexis Mac Allister was at fault for Isak's goal.

Here is how the conversation played out:
Keane: “Look at Mac Allister, look at Mac Allister, look at Mac Allister”
Carragher: “He’s a player Isak isn’t he”
Keane: “Is this Mac Allister?

Carragher: “[Mac Allister] he can’t run”
Ian Wright: “He’s on a booking”
Keane: “Exactly that’s my point he can’t run"
Carragher: "He can't foul he's just been booked"

The point made by the former pros was the fact that Mac Allister couldn't afford to make a tactical foul as he was already on a yellow card.
Newcastle headed into the half-time interval with a well deserved 1-0 lead.
