Liverpool set an unwanted record in the first half of their Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
Liverpool were thrashed 3-0 by Atalanta in their Europa League quarter-final first leg at Anfield on Thursday night and manager Jurgen Klopp would have been hoping for a fast start from his side against the Eagles.
But he got the exact opposite, with Liverpool once against conceding an early goal in the Premier League.

Eberechi Eze capitalised on some poor marking from Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk to put Palace from close range ahead after just 14 minutes.
Liverpool pushed hard for an equaliser before half time but were yet again wasteful in front of goal - Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah failing to find the net before the break.
Palace were also able to create further chances as the half went on, with Jean-Philippe Mateta coming close to a second.

Liverpool's starting midfield three of Alexis Mac Allister, Curtis Jones and Wataru Endo struggled throughout the half and contributed to an unwanted record for the home side.
Sky Sports reported that Liverpool misplaced 60 passes in the first half, their worst figures in a half of Premier League football this season.
"It does not feel like nerves. Energy levels have been poor, the body language is the same," former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher said at half-time.

Liverpool fans were also quick to criticise their team on social media.
"Do the players know that we are in a title race? This is not the way you play when we have big things at stake," posted one fan on X.
Another added: "The boys are letting down Jurgen and every fan. No one but ourselves to blame for this, so far."
While a third wrote: "These players chose the most crucial part of the season to be utterly terrible, I'm disappointed."
