Fans think Liverpool mocked Manchester United with their social media post hours after the Red Devils’ defeat by Crystal Palace.
Erik ten Hag’s men suffered their 13th defeat of the 23/24 Premier League season after they were battered 4-0 by Palace at Selhurst Park.
Michael Olise, who had been linked with a move to Old Trafford, scored twice, with Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell also getting themselves on the scoresheet.
On Tuesday morning, it marked the 5-year anniversary of Liverpool’s stunning comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final.

A third fan added: “Posting our famous 4-0 win after United’s famous 4-0 loss. I see what you are doing…”
At the time, Klopp said: “The whole game. The whole performance was too much. It was overwhelming. I watched in my life so many football games but I can't remember many like this. Winning is already difficult but winning with a clean sheet, I don't know how the boys did it.

“I saw James Milner crying after the game on the pitch, it means so much to all of us. There are more important things in the world but creating this kind of atmosphere is so special.”
He added: “It's 10 past 10, most of your children are probably in bed but these boys are f*****g menatlity giants. It's unbelievable. Fine me if you want. I'm not native so I don't have better words for it.”
