Mohamed Salah has provided an update about renewing his Liverpool contract, and fans are worried.
The Egyptian winger's contract with the Reds is due to expire at the end of this season, having joined Liverpool in June 2017.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and club captain Virgil van Dijk are also out of contract at the end of the 2024/25 season, causing concern amongst Liverpool fans as they could lose three of their best players for free.

And their worries have increased after Salah provided an update on his contract negotiations in a new interview.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the 32-year-old said: “I came before the season, and I was like okay, I have one year left so just enjoy it, don’t think about the contract now, don’t think about anything and really just enjoy.
"I don’t want to think about next year and don’t want to think about my future.

"The most important thing is to take one day at a time and just be grateful to be here."
Reacting to the news on X, one fan wrote: "The moment we signed Chiesa i felt this could be the last season for Salah. Maybe Allison too."
Another shared the concern, writing: "Basically it's over. Hope he can win something big with us this season then. Probably the club already signalled their intention not to recontract."
However, one fan argued that Salah may just be waiting to until later in the season to make his decision, as he evaluates his own performances.

They argued: "Salah is 32, he’s in great shape but players can fall off suddenly and rapidly at that age, especially ones who rely on pace - maybe he just wants to be sure he can still perform at the top level before extending."
While another added that it depends on how Liverpool perform under new manager Arne Slot, writing: "All this can be fixed by just signing quality and performing well on the pitch. If we are in a title challenge in Feb and give them a contact proposal they will sign it asap but if we are languishing at mid table the guys will leave."
Salah has made 351 appearances for Liverpool, registering over 300 goals or assists in this time.
