Ian Wright has drew praise from Liverpool supporters for his comments on Mo Salah's bombshell interview about not being offered a contract.
On Sunday, after scoring twice to give Liverpool to a 3-2 win over bottom club Southampton, Salah made a rare request to speak to the press pack in the mixed zone.
He proceeded to reveal that he is yet to receive any kind of contract offer and is currently more likely to leave than stay.

"We are almost in December and I haven't received any offers yet to stay in the club," Salah admitted.
"I'm probably more out than in. You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said, it is December and I haven't received anything yet about my future."
On Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Reds legend Jamie Carragher said he was "disappointed" with Salah, who only stopped for the third time in seven years in England.

He took issue with the fact that his hat-trick appearance was "away at Southampton on the back of winning Liverpool the game".
Earlier on he said was "desperate” for the player and club to “meet in the middle” on a new deal given his importance to the team.
But Arsenal legend Ian Wright took a different stance and admired the fact that Salah was so open about his predicament and put it on Liverpool's toes.

"I love the way Mo come out with what he's saying, put it out there, let the fans see what's going on, don't let the club hide in the shadows and try and do this," Wright said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show.
"Mo Salah is not that kind of player. He doesn't miss games, the way he keeps himself fit and the way he is as a man, he's not somebody that's going to sign a contract and clock off. If there's anyone over 30 that I'm going to give a three-year deal to it's Mo Salah."
Fans enjoyed Wright's take on the situation and felt he hit the nail on the head.
One commented: "Honestly this guy’s my favorite pundit, no double standards and very likeable."

A second said: "This is why everyone loves Ian Wright. Carra should be ashamed of himself."
A third added: "This is one neutral analysis from people who in the business. Ian Wright knows the game and makes a lot of sense."
Salah, who has 12 goals in 18 games in all competitions this season, returns to action on Wednesday when Liverpool host Real Madrid at Anfield in the Champions League.
