One Liverpool star is reportedly closing in on a new deal to extend his stay at Anfield.
The Reds have had a brilliant start to the 24/25 season as they currently sit top of the table in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
Since Arne Slot took over from Jurgen Klopp in the summer, the Dutchman has only tasted defeat once, a shock 1-0 loss against Nottingham Forest at Anfield.

On Saturday, Liverpool were set to take part in the last Merseyside Derby held at Goodison Park but the match was called off due to the weather.
Despite their flying start to the season, concerns surrounding some of Liverpool's stars' contracts have began to rise.
Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold will walk away for free at the end of the season if the club fail to strike a new deal with the trio.

Recently, Salah himself said he was 'more out than in' as he revealed he is yet to receive a new offer from Liverpool.
"We are almost in December and I haven't received any offers yet to stay in the club," Salah said after Liverpool's 3-2 win at Southampton last month.
"I'm probably more out than in. You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said, it is December and I haven't received anything yet about my future."
However, on Saturday night, it was claimed that Salah is closing in on a new deal with Liverpool.

As reported by The Mirror, Salah is on the brink of putting pen to paper over a new two-year deal to extend his stay at Anfield.
The report stated: "Mo Salah is on the brink of signing a new two-year contract with Liverpool to end all doubts about his Anfield future.
"A compromise deal between the club’s owners Fenway Sports Group and the 32-year-old Egyptian king has been thrashed out after months of negotiations. Salah’s long-time agent Rammy Abbas told the Anfield hierarchy that they were looking for a three-year contract while initially the club were only prepared to offer a one year extension once the current agreement ends next summer."
