Liverpool have also been linked with Mbappe over the years and after their 4-1 victory over Brentford on Saturday, Konate was asked about his fellow countryman's situation.

"We don't think about him, we all know where he's going to go," the defender added, laughing as he shared his thoughts.
Konate seems to be referencing Real Madrid, who are the frontrunners to acquire Mbappe's luxurious services this summer.

The German admitted that he would be 'surprised' if 'all the top clubs' were chasing the World Cup winner.
"Obviously, I’m not involved in that, but I can tell you I’d be surprised if all the top clubs were [in for him]," he explained. "The top clubs I know, for most of them it will be tricky - wages, signing-on fee."
Mbappe, who has been at PSG since 2017, seems set for a transfer to Real, who have kept tabs on him for some time now.
He's scored an impressive 243 goals in 290 appearances in all competitions for the Parisians. This season, he has a superb 31 goals to his name.
