Real Madrid are set to hand Kylian Mbappe an iconic shirt number if he decides to sign for the Spanish giants.
Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season following showdown talks with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Real, who have kept tabs on him over the years, are thought to be the frontrunners to acquire the superstar forward's services.

However, they face stiff competition from Europe's elite clubs including Liverpool, who have eyed Mbappe.
Mikel Arteta has confirmed Arsenal's interest in Mbappe, with the Gunners told to offer PSG a controversial swap deal.
But all signs point to Spain, with Real set to land the 25-year-old on a blockbuster free transfer.

The deal could see him pay PSG a portion of his signing-on fee.
If Mbappe joins Real, he already has his shirt number lined up ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Mbappe will take over Luka Modric's No.10 shirt, with the legendary Croatian midfielder set to leave the Bernabeu this summer when his contract expires.
If Mbappe sports the No.10 shirt at Real, then he'll join a long list of stars to have worn the number.

The likes of Luis Figo, Mesut Ozil, Clarence Seedorf, James Rodriguez and Wesley Sneijder to name but a few all wore the No.10 shirt during their spell at the club.
Mbappe donned the No.29 shirt when he first moved to PSG back in the summer of 2017.
He eventually landed the No.7 shirt and has worn it ever since.

The No.7 shirt isn't vacant at Real, with Vinicius Junior in possession of the club's legendary number.
Mbappe, though, wears the No.10 shirt for France, winning the World Cup in 2018.
