Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that he could be without one key player for the upcoming match with Manchester United.
Slot's first season as Liverpool boss has gotten off to a perfect start as his side have won both of their opening Premier League fixtures 2-0.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been less convincing, winning their first match due to a late goal from new signing Joshua Zirkzee, but losing their second to Brighton after Joao Pedro scored an injury time goal to finish the game 2-1.

But ahead of the pair's meeting this weekend, Slot has revealed that Liverpool could be without a key player.
Curtis Jones was expected to play a big part of Slot's Liverpool, but is yet to make an appearance under the new manager as he continues to struggle with a suspected groin injury.
The midfielder was expected to be back for last weekend's match against Brentford, but suffered a knock in training which ruled him out of the match and could stop him from making the squad for the United clash.

“It’s going to be close, so we have to wait and see,” Slot revealed in his post-match press conference.
“It’s always difficult to see how an injury evolves during the upcoming week."
The Dutch manager also gave an indication on when Liverpool fans can expect to see the 23-year-old back in the lineup.
He added: “He’s not going to be out for a long time, but it’s going to be close for him to be there next week.

“But I’m quite sure he’s going to try everything to be ready for next week.”
Jones made 36 appearances for the Merseyside club last season, his most since being promoted to the senior team having come up through the academy.
Ahead of the season, Jones praised the new manager and said that this is the most he has enjoyed his time at Liverpool.

He said: "This is the happiest I have been.
"My way of playing has always been a kid who wants to get on the ball and play, help the team, be comfortable on the ball.
the principles are the same but now the midfielders are going to be the heart of the team."
