Liverpool boss Arne Slot has spoken about his incoming touchline ban with a comment which he admits 'isn't smart to say'.
Since taking over from Jurgen Klopp in the summer, Dutchman Slot has enjoyed a flying start to life as Liverpool's head coach.
Currently, the Reds are top of the Premier League and are also the Champions League leaders.

However, Liverpool have suffered back-to-back draws in the Premier League against Newcastle United and Fulham.
During the 2-2 draw against Fulham, Slot received his third booking of the season, meaning he will have to serve a touchline ban when Liverpool take on Southampton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot reacts to his touchline ban
Speaking about his touchline ban ahead of the match against Southampton, Slot admitted: "I don’t know if it’s smart to say this – there’s also a limit for me, let’s put it that way, then I can get emotional.

"Unfortunately, that limit is earlier reached by referee decisions than the decisions my players make, because they make more good decisions than the referees do, in my opinion, for my team!"
He added: "But I don’t always think you have to show it to have that fire. I think it’s clear that if you work in a club like this, or around the world at a top club, you do have this fire inside of you that you want to win every game, and you try to influence as much as you can.
"The mistake I’ve made two times already here, and one or two times in Holland, is that sometimes you think that creating an atmosphere that the whole world is against you can lead to some positive decisions in the end of the game. But here until now it stayed the same, it didn’t change. It didn’t help at all."

Liverpool are the holders of the Carabao Cup but Slot has already hinted that he could be making wholesale changes to his team.
He said: "I’m aware we’ve only got four defenders available, and probably the ones who have started a lot of times will not play 90 minutes, or maybe not even at all.
"So it’s going to be either academy players who get playing time or players nobody would expect to see in the last line that are going to play in the last line tomorrow."
