Belgium fans were furious with Kevin De Bruyne following their 0-0 draw with Ukraine on Wednesday after what he did during the later stages of the match.
De Bruyne's side just about scraped through to the last 16, after bouncing back from defeat in their opening match to Slovakia.
Group E made history by becoming the first group in the history of the competition to finish with all four sides finishing on four points as Ukraine became the first ever nation to be eliminated with that tally.

Belgium went through in second place behind Romania, due to goals scored as they missed the opportunity to avoid France and be placed on the more favourable side of the draw after failing to beat Ukraine.
Following the goalless draw, De Bruyne and co were booed off the field as ESPN writer Mark Ogden reacted to the response on X, stating: "De Bruyne has just told the players to get off the pitch. Tried to applaud their own fans, but booed so loudly that he told the rest to forget it."
De Bruyne was also individually booed after being announced as the player of the match on the tannoy.

While this may seem slightly excessive, the Belgium captain's actions in added time are seemingly what prompted the reaction.
After being on the back foot in the final exchanges, De Bruyne decided it was best to shield the ball in the corner to see out the game despite the fact a win would have put them in a stronger position in the draw.

Belgium will now face France on Monday, with potential quarter-final opponents of either Portugal or Slovenia if they get past Didier Deschamps' men.
