Kevin de Bruyne was booed by his own supporters after he ordered his teammates to snub Belgium fans after drawing with Ukraine.
On Wednesday Belgium limped into the last-16 of Euro 2024 with a goalless draw against Ukraine.
The European giants went into the match as favourites to top of Group E but, after failing to beat Ukraine, they finished second behind Romania who topped the group

Despite all teams in the group having four points, Romania finished ahead of Belgium due to goals scored, and Ukraine were knocked out of the competition due to a poor goal difference.
And Belgian supporters in Stuttgart Arena made their frustrations at their side's performance clear, as they booed the team off the pitch after hearing the final whistle.
ESPN writer Mark Ogden reacted to the response on X, stating: "De Bruyne has just told the players to get off the pitch. Tried to applaud their own fans, but booed so loudly that he told the rest to forget it."

Minutes later, as Manchester City star De Bruyne was announced as the player of the match, the crowd again began to boo, responding to their captain's reaction to their frustrations.
In another post, Ogden added: "KDB name now being booed after getting Player of the Match award"
Falling to second in the group makes Belgium's road to the final significantly more difficult, as they now sit in the same side of the draw as Germany, Spain, Portugal and France, who they will face in the round of 16.
Belgium will face France at 5pm BST on Monday evening at the Düsseldorf Arena.

The winner of the fixture will likely face Portugal in the quarter final and Germany or Spain in the semi-final.
