Jurgen Klopp has already made his feelings clear on a potential return to Borussia Dortmund.
Back in January, Klopp sent shockwaves through the football world by announcing his decision to step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the 23/24 season.
At the time, the German said that he was running out of energy and was not able to do his job again and again.
As the 23/24 campaign came to a close, it was confirmed that ex-Feyenoord boss Arne Slot would become Liverpool’s new head coach.

This week, it was revealed that Edin Terzic has left his role as Dortmund manager.
A statement from the club read: “Borussia Dortmund and coach Edin Terzic are going their separate ways.
“The 41-year-old, who won the DFB Cup with BVB in 2021, finished runner-up in 2023 and reached the Champions League final in 2024, asked BVB to terminate his contract immediately. Borussia Dortmund agreed to the request after a joint discussion.”
Although he only just left Liverpool, Klopp will no doubt be spoken about as a potential replacement for Terzic.

Back in 2019, Klopp already spoke about making a potential return to his former side.
He said in the book 'Real Love - A life with Borussia Dortmund’ - by BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, which was serialized in SportBild: “As a rescuer in need, if the club really needs my help - why should not I do that?
“It's very nice that I could even have the opportunity. But, I admit, it does not seem so likely. There’s always something new to come.”

In his message to Dortmund fans, Terzic said: “Dear Borussia fans, even though it is really hurting me right now, I would like to tell you that I will be leaving BVB today. It was a huge honour to be able to lead this great club to a DFB Cup victory and most recently to a Champions League final.
“I feel that the upcoming new start should be accompanied by a new man on the sidelines. Everyone who knows me knows that during this decision-making process of the past few weeks, two hearts have been beating in my chest.
“But even after intensive discussions, my basic feeling has not changed. I always wish Borussia Dortmund only the very best and don't say goodbye, but see you again. Hey, BVB!”
