Jose Mourinho described the Fenerbahce shirt as his "skin and bones" during a rousing speech in front of thousands of fans at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
It has been a busy period for the self-proclaimed 'Special One'.
As well as doing some punditry work for the likes of TNT Sports in recent weeks, Mourinho was spotted enjoying some ringside action at the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou fight in Riyadh.

But his burning ambition to make a return to management remained throughout. He was linked with a number of jobs, including the vacant post at former club Chelsea.
But after much speculation, the 61-year-old was recently named the new manager of Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce, where he penned two-year deal.

Speaking to those in attendance, he said: "First of all, I want to thank you for the love that I felt from the first moment that my name was connected with Fenerbahce.
"Normally a coach is loved after victories but in this case I feel I am loved before victories.
"For me, that is a big responsibility that I feel and I promise you that from this moment I belong to your family - this shirt is my skin. Football is passion and there is no better place to feel that passion.
"Since the moment that I met with President Ali Koc, I wanted to play for you because in the end you are the soul of the football club and from the moment I met him and understood his ideas I wanted to play for you and be the coach for all of you.

"I want to work for Turkish football, I want to work for the Turkish league and help to improve, but the most important thing is Fenerbahce.
"Just to finish I want to say that from the moment I signed my contract, your dreams are now my dreams."
As you can see from the footage above, Mourinho proceeded to wave his scarf in the air – a gesture that brought Fenerbahce fans to their feet inside the 48,000-capacity stadium.
