Fans are stunned at who is statistically the best dribbler in the Premier League in 2023.
The Premier League's richest clubs boast its finest players and often the league’s most balletic dribblers. It’s become commonplace to see the likes of Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden, Mohamed Salah and Bernardo Silva bamboozle defenders on a weekly basis and top the dribbling charts.
Yet none of the aforementioned stars are the league’s best dribbler. In fact, that title belongs to a less conspicuous Crystal Palace player.

Of course, Palace, while being a relatively industrious team, have long been graced with exciting wide players.
Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha’s tricks and flicks inspired the Eagles to promotion in the 2012/13 campaign and the latter’s heroics subsequently kept them in the Premier League for years.
A new generation is now dazzling the Selhurst Park crowd, with Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze often tasked with dragging Roy Hodgson’s pragmatic outfit to victory.
So it’s only a slight surprise that statistically the league’s best dribbler plays for the south Londoners. What is a shock, however, is that the player in question is not Olise or Eze but Jordan Ayew.

While not being as graceful as his counterparts, Ayew has become a menace for opposition players, tirelessly galloping up and down the Palace left flank and winning countless fouls.
Indeed, in 2023 the Ghanaian completed some 83 dribbles, more than any other player in the league.
Fans were stunned by the news. One person said on X, formally Twitter: “Ayew statistically the best dribbler in the Prem… this league is so, so washed.”
Another wrote: “We went from Ronaldo to Ayew.”

A third added: “We used to have players like Hazard, Ronaldo, Nani, Boufal, Coutinho. Now we put up with Ayew.”
A fourth said: “Lol how did Jordan Ayew become the best dribbler statistically in the EPL? The league is washed.”
