Fans have noticed the incredible detail to the Premier League scoreboards when a goal goes in this season.

The 2024/25 Premier League campaign is officially underway as Manchester United opened the new season with a 1-0 victory over Fulham on Friday.

Joshua Zirkzee, who joined the club this summer, scored the only goal of the game on his debut.

On Saturday, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Brighton and Aston Villa secured three points following their victories over Ipswich Town, Wolves, Southampton, Everton and West Ham United respectively.

Arne Slot began his reign at Liverpool with a 2-0 win at Portman Road while Mikel Arteta's Arsenal kicked off their term with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Gary O'Neil's side.

And Fabian Hurzeler, 31, won his first league match for Brighton, who ran out 3-0 winners at Goodison Park.

Sky Sports aired Man United's game against Fulham while TNT Sports broadcasted Liverpool's victory over Ipswich.

But on the Premier League production, which is broadcasted across the world, they debuted a new feature for the season.

When a goal goes in, there is a club-specific goal graphic which flashes on the scoreboard.

A post on social media shows the feature for Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Villa and West Ham.

Man United's graphic contained a reference to their Red Devils moniker while the Liver Bird popped up for Liverpool's graphic.

The cannon emerged for Arsenal's goal, and seagulls appeared for Brighton's goal - again, a nod to their nicknames.

Needless to say, the new feature got fans online talking.

One X user wrote: "Arsenal's Cannon goes hard."

A second added: "Premier League Productions you've outdone yourselves."

A third said: "Brilliant detail."

Another commented: "That Newcastle one is nice."
