Two England players clashed ahead of their Euro 2024 fixture against Slovenia.

Two England player were involved in a heated exchange in a training session, according to a report.

England have four points in Group C, having beaten Serbia and drawn against Denmark.

The Three Lions resume their campaign next Tuesday when they face Slovenia, who have two points to their name.

Gareth Southgate's squad went through their paces in a training session on Saturday ahead of their fixture in Cologne, with one player unable to train in a major injury blow.

And, according to a report, Kyle Walker and Kieran Tripper clashed as 'words were exchanged'.

It's claimed the England stars 'disagreed on something' as they stood a 'few feet away from each other, both with their arms spread'.

The full-backs had been laughing and joking moments earlier until the Newcastle United man appeared to take exception to something the Manchester City star said.

Phil Foden seemed to defuse the situation, putting his hands on Tripper's shoulder before the players were all smiles.

Walker and Trippier have started both of England's games at Euro 2024 and could feature against Slovenia.

Speaking on whether he will make changes for England's next Euros fixture, Southgate said: "We’ll have a look at everything (in terms of changes). We’ll look at the performance and look at the next opponent and find the best solutions for the next game.

"We felt the right thing to do against Denmark was to give confidence to the players we picked in the first game. We had won the previous game."
