David de Gea 'may retire' if he does not get an offer to be the No.1 at a major club, according to stunning reports.
De Gea left Manchester United earlier this summer after failing to agree a new deal as he spent 12 seasons at Old Trafford.
He's turned down several offers since becoming a free agent as he's rejected Saudi Arabia's advances, among other proposals.

The Spaniard is staying fit ahead of potentially landing a new side as he hopes to receive the right offer that consists of a club capable of competing for silverware.
However, fresh reports claim he could make a shock career move as he remains a free agent.
According to The Guardian, the goalkeeper, who turns 33 in November, 'may retire' if he does not receive an offer to be the first choice at a major club.

If he walked away from football, it'll come as a huge surprise considering De Gea won the Premier League Golden Glove award last season.
He won the Premier League, FA Cup, two League Cups and the Europa League during his stint at Man United.
On an individual note, De Gea won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award an impressive four times. He also won Manchester United's Players' Player of the Year award on four occasions.

De Gea, who was on a reported £375,000-per-week contract at Man United, failed to strike new terms, with the Red Devils snapping up Andre Onana from Inter Milan for £47.2 million during the summer transfer window.
But Erik ten Hag's new goalkeeper has come under fire following the Cameroonian's start this season.
In his last three games alone, he's conceded a whopping 10 goals and made a huge error in his side's defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
