Darwin Nunez has reacted to his open goal miss during Liverpool vs Toulouse.
On Thursday night, Liverpool welcomed French Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse to Anfield in the Europa League.
Jurgen Klopp’s men were in a rampant mood as goals from Diogo Jota, Wataru Endo, Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch and Mohamed Salah sealed a 5-1 victory.
For Liverpool’s fourth goal, Nunez was put through by Jota, the Uruguayan got away from the defender and the goalkeeper but incredibly missed an open net as his shot bounced off the post.

Luckily for Nunez and Liverpool, Gravenberch picked up the loose ball and scored.
Now, Nunez has taken to social media to react to his shocking open-goal miss.
He wrote: “It's okay. I'm still strong and working to improve personally and help Liverpool.”

Since arriving from Benfica for big money last summer, Nunez's every move has been put under the microscope. Despite that, the striker has shown glimpses that he can be a real asset for Liverpool.
After the match, Reds boss Klopp spoke about the Nunez miss.
He said: “He played incredible. Honestly, in this moment, I don’t think I could care less that he hits the post.
“Everything before was super-convincing, was absolutely clear, how he took the defender away, how he passed the goalie, it was a perfect situation.”

He added: “He played really good, the goal he scored, the situations he was involved, dropping into midfield, staying on the ball, all these kinds of things. There were a lot of good things.”
Liverpool will be back in Premier League action this weekend as they take on Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.
