Crystal Palace issued an extremely blunt statement while announcing Rob Holding's deadline day transfer.
Holding joined the Eagles from Arsenal in September 2023 for a fee of £4 million, signing a three-year deal.
But the 29-year-old has endured a nightmare spell in South London, making just a single appearance in a Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester United.

Under Oliver Glasner, Holding found himself at the bottom of the pecking order in terms of centre-back options and was reportedly banished from the first-team environment.
After a draw with Chelsea in September, Glasner confirmed that Holding was not training with the rest of the group.
"Rob [Holding] is training individually at the moment,” the Austrian said in his press conference.

"We will talk together. He knows the reason, but it is something that stays between Rob and me. Nothing public.”
After returning to fitness following injury issues, Holding trained and played for the club's Under 23 side but was left out of the Palace team photoshoot in a move which showed where he stood.
The defender deleted all references of Palace on his official Instagram page, including training pictures. But he secured a move away on transfer deadline day, signing on loan for Championship side until the end of the season.

Palace's statement about his departure on the club website was brief to say the least.
"Rob Holding has joined Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season," the club said.
"The 29-year-old joined Palace in September 2023 from fellow Premier League side Arsenal.
Holding now heads to Bramall Lane until the end of the 2024/25 campaign, linking up with fellow Palace loanee Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. The Blades currently sit second in the EFL Championship, two points off the top of the table. The club wishes Rob luck with his loan spell."

In January, Holding broke his social media silence four months after being ostracised - posting a series of pictures with the caption, "Lucky to have some of the best people around me."
After signing for Sheff United, he shared the club's announcement post on his Instagram and wrote, "LFG! (Let's f***ing go).
He could be in line to make his debut on Saturday when the Blades host Portsmouth.
