Cristiano Ronaldo broke a European Championship record following Portugal’s victory on Tuesday evening.
Francisco Conceicao netted a 92nd-minute winner to see Roberto Martinez's Portugal labour to a 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic in Group F, having been a goal down.
Indeed, five-time Balon d’Or winner Ronaldo featured from the start for Portugal and in doing so became the first man in history to play in six European Championships. He made his first appearance in the tournament back in 2004.

Yet the 39-year-old was among those to spurn several big chances throughout the game.
Despite a lacklustre display from the Portugal icon, who now pays his club football for Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr, Ronaldo broke another record during the encounter.
Indeed, the forward has now created 43 chances for team-mates in European Championships, the most of any player in history.

Ronaldo has created one more chance in the competition than former Portugal team-mate Luis Figo and three more than ex-Real Madrid colleague Mesut Ozil.
After the encounter Czech Republic manager Ivan Hasek praised Ronaldo, who he labelled a “genius”.
Hasek said: "I have to admit it is a big pity that we did not finish our work. It was close. We made it very difficult for Portugal, one of the best teams in the world.

"We are all disappointed to have conceded in additional time. We have to put it behind us very quickly as in four days we will play a key game. We will need to improve.
"It is really unbelievable how dangerous a player Cristiano Ronaldo is in every game at his age. He showed his genius again, he knows how to get involved in chances.
"My hat goes off to him; he is one of the best players in football history. Truly a fabulous man."
