Fans are only just realising how much Chelsea sold Jamal Musiala for and it's blowing their minds.
Musiala, who worked his way through the England youth system before opting to play for Germany, has become one of the biggest talents in Europe and shone on the international stage at Euro 2024.
The Bayern star was part of the Chelsea academy for eight years after joining from Southampton in 2011 and left for Munich at just 16 without making a first-team appearance.

Musiala isn't the first world-class talent Chelsea have let slip through their fingers, with the likes of Mo Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, and Michael Olise all leaving the club before reaching their peak.
However, the fee the London club received from Bayern has blown supporters away, with the Bundesliga side parting with a compensation package for the youngster worth around £170,000 (€200,000).
The Mail Online claimed that while no buy-back clause was inserted in that 2019 transfer, a sell-on fee worth 20 per cent was included.

According to transfermarkt, Musiala's transfer value is now in excess of £115 million, making him the eighth most valuable player in world football.
However, Musiala's exit was more complicated than a usual transfer, with the German international revealing Brexit played a major role in his move back home.
“When I was 16, I was just finishing up my GCSEs, and there was a lot of uncertainty in our family,” he told The Players’ Tribune. “Not about football, but about life.

“Brexit was about to take effect in the U.K., and my mum was worried about how it could affect her career as an expat working in London. We couldn’t really get clear answers. It was stressful.
“Right around that time, Bayern Munich offered us the chance to move back home. Or I should say our ‘first home’. I loved England. I felt part English, if I’m honest. It’s never an easy decision to uproot your life like that, but it really felt like fate. Something about Bayern just felt natural.”
