Musiala bagged a sensational first-half hat-trick, netting in the second and 37th minute before completing his haul in stoppage time.

After the match, Musiala gave a Kane-esque dressing room speech following his hat-trick.

On social media, he shared a video of himself in the dressing room, impersonating the England forward. Check it out below:

"Hi guys, another special night with another match ball," he said in the video uploaded on his Instagram account. "Fantastic performance from the whole team against a really tough Mainz team... 4-0.

"I'm delighted! We keep it going... obviously a home game now on Saturday and we want to keep this momentum. Thank you for your support and let's keep it up."

Kane has bagged a slew of hat-tricks since moving to Bayern, but he was unable to find the back of the net against Mainz.

But he acknowledged his side's showing on social media. He said: "Blew them away in the first half! Next round let’s go."

Bayern boss Vincent Kompany echoed Kane's sentiments and claimed his team can still get better despite the rampant performance.

"The main focus was on our performance and our best level, which we were able to bring to the pitch today," he explained.

"The game started very well for us with the early goal, then the course of the game was perfect. It’s great that we advanced to the next round. Can the team still get better? My answer is yes, so we have to keep improving."

Bayern, who occupy top spot in the Bundesliga table, resume their league campaign on Saturday against Union Berlin.
