A Real Madrid player could be set to leave the club after a succession of poor performances this season.
Madrid have started the season in mixed form as Carlo Ancelotti’s side currently sit second in La Liga, trailing Barcelona by six points.
If being behind the Catalans in the league table wasn’t enough to annoy Madrid fans, Barca added insult to their injuries with a fine 4-0 trouncing of the La Liga champions at the Santiago Bernabeu last weekend.

Despite winning the league title and Champions League last season, questions are beginning to be thrown at Madrid’s players.

The likes of Fede Valverde, Luka Modric, Dani Ceballos, Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham are potential options for Ancelotti, but there’s another central midfielder who has experienced some criticism, having not started in the recent games against Borussia Dortmund and Barca.
Aurélien Tchouaméni, 24, has fallen out of favour in the Spanish capital.
The French international joined the club from Monaco in 2022 for a reported £83m (including potential add-ons).
Despite playing 102 times for Los Blancos, the former Bordeaux midfielder has never really realised his potential at the club and could be set for a move.

The former Monaco man is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League side Liverpool, with Spanish outlet Fichajes revealing that Madrid have informed the English club that an offer of around £66.6m could be enough to prise him to Anfield – even as early as January.
