Jamie Carragher got himself into a spot of bother when he interviewed Toni Kroos after his final ever game in club football on Saturday night.
Kroos, who is retiring aged 34, starred for Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Wembley as they won a record-extending 15th European Cup following a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr struck in the second half to make it a perfect send-off for Kroos, who bowed out with a sixth Champions League triumph.
After his 718th club appearance, Kroos enjoyed the celebrations and also took part in a number of media duties.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, working for CBS Sports, managed to catch a word with the former Bayern Munich midfielder.
"Yeah it could be worse,” Kroos said after being asked about his last game being a Champions League final triumph.
“That was the plan. Of course, it's difficult to plan this but it's crazy. Even though we didn't do our best match today obviously it seems in these games we're not able to lose.”

Kroos then discussed the innate mentality of Real, whose last defeat in a major European final came against Sir Alex Ferguson's Aberdeen 40 years ago.
But as Carragher was asking his final question, he was being quickly wrapped up by Real's press officer.
There was a lot of finger wagging going on in an incredibly awkward moment, with Carragher's face an absolute picture.

The pundit did still proceed with his last question though, asking Kroos about his legacy at Real.
He added: "Amazing. Six titles in the champions league is crazy – it’s definitely not something I ever thought I would achieve, but I made it today.”
