
Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe's immediate reaction to Julian Alvarez's penalty has gone viral.
There was major controversy at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Wednesday night as Atletico hosted fierce rivals Real in the Champions League round of 16.
Conor Gallagher scored the only goal of the night to send the tie all the way to penalties.

During the shootout, Alvarez had his penalty disallowed by VAR after replays showed the Argentine appeared to make contact with the ball twice, which is not permitted.
After the match, a video of Mbappe reacting to Alvarez's spot kick emerged on social media.

The Frenchman looked away in disappointment after seeing Alvarez score but quickly turned back around and gestured with two fingers, implying the Argentine touched the ball twice.

Mbappe also appeared to say: "Dos toques," which translates to English as 'Two touches'.
At this point, Mbappe walked towards the referee to let him know about the suspected double touch, the likes of Lucas Vazquez and Raul Asencio were already speaking to the official. You can watch the footage below.
Reacting on social media, one fan said: "Mbappe has Sharp eyes."

A third fan added: "From the halfway line, that’s insane."
Someone else wrote: "Sharp eyes caught it instantly!"
When quizzed on the incident, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti said: "Football ... It’s very strange. He touches it, he takes two touches because he shoots with his right and touches with his left. It’s a lottery."

Meanwhile, Atletico manager Diego Simeone was not so sure.
He said: "When he plants his foot and kicks, the ball doesn’t move even a little bit.
"But if VAR called it, I’ve never seen a penalty called by VAR, but it’s still valid, and they’ll have seen that he touched it. I want to believe they’ll have seen that he touched it."
