Thierry Henry was left shocked by what Jamie Carragher said during CBS Sports’ coverage of the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Carragher, 47, was joined by Micah Richards, Thierry Henry and presenter Kate Scott during last night’s Champions League coverage.
During the show, the former Liverpool centre-back read out texts that he claimed he had received from his mum, one of which read: “Hi James, what a win – you were brilliant on the panel today.”

The show was as entertaining as always, with Carragher even taking part in a race against internet personality iShowSpeed.
However, in the UK, the Champions League is broadcast by TNT Sports while CBS provide coverage for the US. So, UK fans have to settle for the clips which are uploaded to CBS Sports' social media accounts throughout the course of Champions League nights.
“Hold on, hold on, has she got a dodgy box?” Scott asked.

“How is she watching [CBS Sports' coverage]?”
“She’s watching the Champions League at home,” Carragher swiftly replied.
Scott then pointed out that Carragher’s mum had mentioned the fact he was great on the panel, before the former Liverpool defender explained “that was a few weeks ago” on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, which is broadcast by Sky Sports to UK audiences.
“We're not allowed to say it on here?” Carragher added.

“Ah, you just said it,” Henry said.
This was not the first time 'dodgy' boxes were mentioned on the show.
Back in March 2024, after Bayern Munich's 3-0 win against Lazio in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, the panel - including Carragher - spoke to Harry Kane.
Kane, 31, thanked Henry for praising him on a previous Monday Night Football show but he was then questioned about how he can watch the show given the fact he lives in Germany.

"How do you get that in Germany, by the way?" Richards asked.
"Don't worry," Kane replied.
"Harry's got a dodgy box!" Carragher quipped.
“I don't think Sky Go goes to Germany…” Richards claimed.
