Fans all have the same idea after watching Harry Kane’s Man of the Match performance against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
Kane, 31, put in an excellent showing at the BayArena as his Bayern Munich side ran out comfortable winners with a convincing 2-0 (5-0 on aggregate) victory over Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Kane’s second-half strike took his tally to 10 in the Champions League this season – the most of any English player in a single campaign.
The former Spurs man also provided the assist for Alphonso Davies’ goal, which finished the tie.

And after his impressive showing, fans were all making the same point on social media after realising that he has registered 42 goal contributions in the 2024/25 campaign.

One said: "Bayern Munich fans need to become obnoxiously loud, and start pushing a Harry Kane Ballon D'or campaign.
"This could be the year. They cannot use the trophy against him."

Another added: "Let’s start the Ballon d’Or PR for Harry Kane."
A third explained: "If Kane just scored more non penalty goals thus could have been his Ballon d'Or season."
While another commented: "Bayern Munich needs more PR cause Harry Kane has 42 G/A this season and nobody is talking about it."
The England captain shared the Gerd Muller trophy with Kylian Mbappe at the 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony but did express his desire to win a "more prestigious" one seemingly referencing the Ballon d'Or.

"This trophy validates my career choice, that of leaving my country for the first time at the age of 30," Kane told L'Equipe in an exclusive interview in January 2025.
"And it allowed me to come for the first time, to the Ballon d'Or ceremony at the Theatre du Chatelet to attend the presentation of all these prestigious awards."
"I'm hoping to come back perhaps to win an even more prestigious one," Kane added.
"Of course I'm thinking about it!" he admitted when asked if he thinks about winning the coveted prize.

"And, why not say it, I believe in it. I feel like my performances make me a credible candidate.
"I continue to progress, I play in teams, whether it's Bayern or England, that are natural contenders for big victories."
