Gary Neville has made an honest admission about Liverpool that should hurt every Manchester United fan.
This season has been one to forget for the Red Devils as they currently sit 14th in the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, their fierce rivals Liverpool are one small step away from clinching the top-flight title and are 40 points ahead of United.
Ahead of a potential title-winning match at Anfield between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, Neville spoke about the Reds' impending success.

He said on Sky Sports: "It is a massive deal when you think of the league title and the importance of a league title. You think of the great managers that Liverpool have had like [Bill] Shankley, [Bob] Paisley, Kenny Dalglish, Joe Fagan and obviously at United, talking about the importance of your bread and butter, winning the league title.
"The accolade of the most successful club, you could debate it maybe when Manchester United were on 20 titles and obviously Liverpool do have more European Cups but, once Liverpool get level with Manchester United, the painful thing to say is that unfortunately the debate is over for a period until United become successful again and win leagues."
Neville continued: "It should cause real tremors over at Old Trafford the idea that Liverpool, who are obviously a great football club, and now are the most successful football club [in England] after today... It should really cause heartache and pain because it took a lot to get ahead of Liverpool.
"They were miles ahead when Sir Alex Ferguson took over."

Speaking ahead of the match, Liverpool boss Arne Slot said: "I enjoy going to Anfield every single time, but the focus is on trying to get the points or win over the line.
"Normally we settle only for a win, a point isn't enough. It's mostly three, four or five minutes you are happy and then normal managerial life starts again."
