Wrexham have confirmed their second signing of the summer as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming League One campaign.
The Welsh outfit secured a second consecutive promotion under Phil Parkinson last term and will be playing in the third tier of the English football pyramid for the first time in 19 years.
After a flurry of players were released, the club moved to secure a permanent deal for goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo after he impressed on loan from Arsenal last term.
And they have followed up that acquisition by snapping up young defender Lewis Brunt from Leicester City.

The 23-year-old has played four times for the Foxes and spent last season on loan at Mansfield Town, who were also promoted to League One after finishing behind Wrexham in third place.
Brunt made 40 appearances in all competitions and the Stags wanted to sign him permanently, having a bid turned down by Leicester.
The Red Dragons have confirmed Aston Villa youth product Brunt has penned a deal until 2027.

“I’m over the moon to get the deal signed and over the line and I can’t wait to get going,” Brunt told the club's official website.
“Everyone knows the story behind Wrexham, it’s a Club with a great history and big ambitions for where it wants to go, so to join that journey is a good feeling.”
Under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Wrexham are not wasting any time in the transfer market.
And manager Phil Parkinson is delighted with the latest arrival at SToK Cae Ras.

“He did exceptionally well in his first full season at Mansfield and he will be a player that has a lot of development in him.
“I believe that he will be a great acquisition for us.”
