Arsenal fans were left stunned at Wolves defender Yerson Mosquera being allowed to stay on the pitch against their side after two bizarre incidents.
Arsenal won 2-0 against Gary O'Neil's side to kick-start their season in the perfect fashion at the Emirates Stadium.
Kai Havertz opened the scoring with a header from Bukayo Saka's cross, before the same duo combined in reverse order to give the Gunners an unassailable two-goal advantage.

It was the ideal start for a side that missed out on the Premier League title by just two points to Manchester City last season, and will fancy their chances of another title challenge this term.
But their opening weekend win could have been even more comfortable had one of Wolves' players been sent off after two bizarre incidents.
After a spot of grappling between Mosquera and Havertz in the second half, the Wolves defender pulled the German down to the ground - before grabbing him by the neck.

The incident was checked by VAR but no red card was given to the Colombian.
Then on 88 minutes, Mosquera grabbed Gabriel Jesus by the backside, with the Arsenal star furiously reacting by shoving his opponent over.
And fans couldn't believe that he wasn't sent off for the two offences combined.
You can see the two incidents below.
In response, one fan wrote: "What is bro doing?"

A second said: "I can understand about Gabriel Jesus [not being booked], but that thing he did to Havertz is a yellow card offence at the very least."
A third agreed: "How's he not off for the hand around the neck???"
A fourth said: "That first one is a straight red, and I have no idea how it didn't get given."
Mosquera was in fact making his Premier League debut for Wolves, three years after he signed for the club from Colombian side Atletico Nacional.

After nearly two years without a competitive league appearance, he spent 2023 on loan at MLS side Cincinnati before joining La Liga side Villarreal for the second half of last season.
