Japan recorded another famous victory over Germany with a 4-1 win in an international friendly as they followed up their World Cup success.
The two sides locked horns last year in Qatar in Group E and Japan claimed a shock 2-1 win over Germany on that occasion.
Germany were subsequently dumped out of the World Cup at the group stage, while Japan made it to the last 16 phase before being eliminated by Croatia on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

The two sides took on one another again in Wolfsburg, this time for an international friendly - and Japan recorded another victory.
Junya Ito put the Japanese ahead after 10 minutes, but Leroy Sane equalised not long after, before Aayse Ueda gave the visitors the lead before half time.
Takuma Asano and Ao Tanaka netted in the closing stages for Japan to secure a remarkable 4-1 victory and compound the Germans' misery.

During the encounter, Arsenal's Takehiro Tomiyasu came up against Bayern Munich's Sane, both players starting the encounter and the latter of course managing to get on the scoresheet when he equalised.
But there was a moment in the encounter when the Gunners defender came up directly against the former Manchester City man - and there was a clear winner.
The two players went together in the box as Sane aimed to get to the by-line - but Tomiyasu was having absolutely none of it.

Rather than sticking with the winger and blocking off the potential of him putting a cross in, the Gunners defender shoulder barged him with his strength, which sent the Bayern attacker tumbling to the pitch as Tomiyasu claimed possession, before Sane quickly got back to his feet to continue the game.
Tomiyasu has played three times for Mikel Arteta's side so far this season, but only started once.
However, the Gunners boss will have liked what he saw from the defender in the friendly as he ponders his team selection at the Emirates Stadium moving forward.
