Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury were involved in a heated FaceTime altercation as a fight date has been revealed.

Joshua and Fury are on collision course to meet in an undisputed showdown.

'AJ's next fight was confirmed yesterday in a press conference as he'll face Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight title on September 21, which includes a stacked undercard.

The self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King', on the other hand, rematches Oleksandr Usyk on December 21 for the WBA (super), WBO and WBC belts.

And should both Joshua and Fury win their next fights, then a monstrous all-British showdown is set to take place.

Ahead of a potential meeting between the British heavyweight stars, they exchanged words in an intense FaceTime, with Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, who has been instrumental in making the big fights happen.

"I'm waiting for you," said Joshua.

Referring to his second meeting with Usyk, Fury replied: "I'm gonna get the job done."

The former WBC title holder then asked Alalshikh when he intends to put the fight on to which he replied: "First or second quarter of 2025."

After revealing the fight date, Fury hit out at Joshua, calling him a "big ugly dosser."

Joshua replied: "You look like a tomato... put some sunscreen on... you idiot."

Away from their video conversation, Joshua ripped into Fury and said he's glad his rival isn't the undisputed heavyweight champion.

"I'm glad Fury isn't the undisputed champion. I just think he's an idiot," he exclaimed.

"If it was someone else, I might think it was a shame I've always said he's an idiot, he's very disrespectful.

"Not in a way I care but I just feel like he thinks by stepping on other people that makes him feel better.

"I'm not in no competition with no-one. I'm in my own lane but he has to step on people to make himself feel good and that's not good.

"The way he disrespected Usyk, ‘rabbit’ this and ‘middleweight’ that. it's not good for the sport.

"If I respect you and you respect me we can lift this sport up and people think we are two of the most elite fighters in the world.

"But Fury will step on you and make you look like a guy who's just walked out and a pub and he's not on your level. Then he goes and gets spanked, he deserves it."
