The arrival of Lisandro Martinez has seen Lindelof slip down the pecking order. While McTominay has often had to play second fiddle to the likes of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen this season.
Providing an update on the pair's future, Romano tweeted: "Erik ten Hag will decide on the situation of Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay in the summer.
"Lindelof had Inter and Atlético Madrid interest in January, McTominay was and remains on Newcastle list. Man United will decide in the next months."
Club captain Harry Maguire has also been rumoured with an exit, after ESPN claimed he was caught up in 'dressing room politics' involving Cristiano Ronaldo, before the Portuguese superstar's acrimonious departure.

The report added that United’s coaching staff have concerns about the 30-year-old's tendency to rush out to win challenges, as well as his lack of mobility.
