And in further Manchester United transfer news - fans can probably safely rule out the signings of Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham before they take on Reading.
Another one of the ties of the fourth round sees Tottenham travel to Championship side Preston North End.
Whether Antonio Conte's side do any major transfer business before then remains to be seen - but reported target Josko Gvardiol has already named another Premier League giant as his 'dream club'.
And United could enlist the services of Wout Weghorst against the Royals, if they manage to complete a loan deal for the Burnley forward in time.
But the Dutch international, currently on loan at Besiktas, won't be able to wear the number seven shirt if he does make the move to Old Trafford, and the Turkish giants have sent Erik ten Hag's side a clear message about a prospective deal.
Paul Ince is set to return to Manchester United when takes his Reading side to Old Trafford for round four.
Ince had a six-year spell at United between 1989 and 1995 as a player, before departing to join Inter Milan.
United, meanwhile, will hope Marcus Rashford can carry his top form into the tie - if selected by Erik ten Hag. He produced another superb performance in the 3-1 victory over Everton to help United into the fourth round.
Should Chelsea and Arsenal win their respective games in order to face each other in round four, it may just bring the race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk into full focus.
The Blues hold interest in bringing Mudryk to Stamford Bridge, but Arsenal have already submitted two bids for the winger. Shakhtar, however, want to see a higher offer to allow the Ukrainian to leave.
