Steven Gerrard's former Liverpool team-mate Jamie Redknapp did not choose the Anfield legend when it came to selecting the greatest ever Premier League midfielder.
Gerrard is a Liverpool legend having come through the youth team ranks at Anfield and the midfielder made his debut for the first team in 1998.
Between then and 2015, Gerrard went on to play 710 times in the famous red shirt and scored 185 goals in all competitions, in addition to becoming club captain.

Gerrard won two FA Cups, three League Cups, the UEFA Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the Champions League during his time at Anfield, only missing out on winning the Premier League at his boyhood club.
Gerrard left Liverpool in 2015 and ended his club career at LA Galaxy, before hanging up his boots the following year.
Gerrard also scored 21 goals in 114 caps for England and since retiring has embarked upon a coaching career.

After initially coaching Liverpool's under-18s and under-19s, Gerrard managed Glasgow giants Rangers between 2018 and 2021, winning the Scottish Premiership.
Gerrard joined Aston Villa in November 2021, but did not reach 12 months at Villa Park after being sacked in October 2022.
The former midfielder became the manager of Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq in July 2023, but departed by mutual consent at the end of January this year.

This week, Kevin De Bruyne confirmed he will be departing Manchester City at the end of the season after a decade of success at the Etihad Stadium.
De Bruyne joined City from Wolfsburg in 2015 for a then club record £54m, and has gone on to score 106 goals across 413 games in all competitions to cement his status as one of the Premier League's all-time greats.
The Belgium international has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups and the Champions League during his time at the club and is only player in the current City squad from before Pep Guardiola's arrival in 2016.
And speaking last year after De Bruyne netted in a 4-0 victory over Brighton, Redknapp hailed the Belgian as the Premier League's best ever attacking midfielder, ahead of the likes of former team-mate Gerrard and Frank Lampard, who is also his cousin.

He said: "Kevin De Bruyne, we've seen some greats, like [Steven] Gerrard, [Frank] Lampard, David Silva, Yaya Toure, unbelievable attacking midfielders, he's the top one for me.
"He does things that are out of this world. The passes that he has seen throughout his career, since coming to the PL, there are not many that can do that.
"He can score all types of goals I didn't expect diving headers. I'm in awe of him every time I see him."
