Erik ten Hag has been urged to sign Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech as one of his first transfers for Manchester United.
Ten Hag is eyeing new talent for Man United, with the likes of Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs de Ligt linked with a summer move to Old Trafford.
And ANOTHER former Ajax player who worked under Ten Hag has now been connected with the club, after Marco van Basten backed him to snap up the out-of-favour Chelsea man.

The 29-year-old starred at Ajax before securing a switch to the Blues in 2020.
Despite helping his team win the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup, the former Moroccan international has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Van Basten reckons Ten Hag should pursue the left footed winger, believing he could thrive at Man United under his old manager's tutelage.

Speaking on Ziggo Sport's 'Rondo's show, which featured Ten Hag as a guest, Van Basten said: "What comes to my mind now is that I think Ziyech who already plays in England could be a very good footballer at Manchester United for Erik."

But Ten Hag played down the Dutch legend's transfer suggestion and insisted that he knows how to deal with speculation at Man United.
"Of course, this was already the case at Ajax," he said.
"You take that in and then you have to continue to work well with the dressing room and with people within the club.
"You have to analyse well and make the right choices."

Speaking on Monday, he added: "I have started working today.
"I already did the first things with Manchester United today. Tomorrow I will continue with that.
"I will stay here. I will meet people from Manchester here.
"I will organise the staff, make the schedule for next season, and prepare the squad for next season."
