Thomas Tuchel has parted company with one of the long-term members of his set-up as details of his England backroom coaching staff has emerged.
Tuchel was confirmed as Gareth Southgate's successor earlier this week and will officially take over from the start of 2025.
Lee Carsley has been in charge since Southgate stood down following eight years in the England dugout after losing a second successive European Championship final following a 2-1 defeat to Spain.

When Tuchel becomes England manager, Carsley will return to his previous position of under-21 manager, but will first take charge of the Three Lions next two Nations League game, away to Greece and at home to Republic of Ireland.
Former Chelsea boss Tuchel said: "I am very proud to have been given the honour of leading the England team. I have long felt a personal connection to the game in this country, and it has given me some incredible moments already.
"To have the chance to represent England is a huge privilege, and the opportunity to work with this special and talented group of players is very exciting.

"Working closely with Anthony (Barry) as my assistant coach, we will do everything we can to make England successful and the supporters proud."
Tuchel will be aiming to lead England to World Cup glory in 2026.
Part of Tuchel's backroom staff has already been confirmed, with Anthony Barry his assistant manager.

Barry worked with Tuchel at Chelsea and Bayern Munich, where together they won four trophies between both clubs.
Barry said: "For any Englishman in football, working with the national team is the pinnacle and I didn’t hesitate when Thomas asked me to come and join him again.
"I know what a great place St. George’s Park is and how much of an advantage it gives our England teams, and the support it gives to coaches.
"This squad is very talented and have done so much to bring the country together, I look forward to meeting and working with them on this exciting project."

But there is one person who will not be joining Tuchel and Barry in the Three Lions set-up.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Zsolt Low, who was Tuchel's assistant at Bayern and also worked with him at Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, has 'parted ways' with the new England boss.
Romano reports that Hungarian Low is now expected to 'pursue his own path' in the game.
