Jack Grealish isn't letting missing out on Euro 2024 affect his game.

The 2024 European Championships are well underway with most teams having already completed their first two group games.

Despite two lacklustre opening performances, England are one of the favourites to win the tournament as they remain on track to finish on top of Group C.

But, when their final 26-man squad for Euro 2024 was named at the start of June, there was one notable omission, Jack Grealish.

Grealish was named in England’s provisional squad in May but was one of seven players that was cut ahead of the tournament.

But the Manchester City winger hasn’t allowed missing out on the Euros to stop him from improving his game over the summer, as he has been seen training in Italy with Juventus.

The 28-year-old posted a video on his Instagram Stories in the training ground of the Juventus academy in Turin, clearly out of breath after an evening solo training session.

Writing alongside the video, Grealish said: “8pm, 25 degrees, Perfect.”

Grealish has struggled in the 2023/24 season for Manchester City, scoring just three goals and assisting a further three, in 36 appearances for the club.

Having joined the club from Aston Villa for a record fee of £100million, this was seen as inadequate for England manager Gareth Southgate, who opted for Grealish’s club teammate Phil Foden on the left wing, with Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon as backup.

Grealish’s international record also leaves more to be desired having only scored two goals in his 36 England appearances since his debut in September 2020.

And, while unlikely, some fans have speculated that Grealish choosing to train with Juventus could suggest that a transfer to the Italian giants is a future possibility.

Juventus finished third in the Serie A in the 2023/24 season with 23 points separating them from league winner Inter Milan.
